September 4, 2008 Silicon Valley Icons to send DNA into space

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 4, 2008—NCsoft's® Operation Immortality™ has added three of Silicon Valley's most celebrated minds to the growing list of notable names who are sending their digitized DNA into space. Kevin Rose, creator of the social-bookmarking website Digg, Robert Scoble, one of the world's most popular tech bloggers and Tim Draper, founder of the venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson, have agreed to send their DNA to orbit along with celebrated game designer Richard Garriott, who is traveling to the International Space Station (ISS) on Oct. 12.

August 29, 2008 Screenwriters Sending DNA to Space

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 29, 2008—Yet another group of prominent names has agreed to send their digitized DNA into space aboard the "Immortality Drive." Nine well-known television writers, screenwriters and comedy writers will have their DNA sequenced, digitized and sent into orbit on the Immortality Drive, a time capsule that will contain the digitized DNA of select video game players, space aficionados and celebrities. The drive will be carried to the International Space Station (ISS) by famed game developer Richard Garriott when he travels to space on October 12.

August 26, 2008 City of Heroes "Issue 13: Architect" Announced

We now have details on the next major update to City of Heroes®, "Issue 13: Architect." This highly anticipated Issue will feature the Mission Architect, which will allow players to design their own missions and story arcs to share across the entire COH community. We're also giving your favorite heroes and villains "day jobs" (offline character progression), two new powersets (Shields and Pain Domination), new Cimerora Missions, and lots more.
